^ yea it's definitely nice to know that there is a non desi who is eager to learn about South Asian cultures, languages and religions. Atleast since on gupshup the topics are so diverse and we talk about almost everything one could think about.

I am here as part of the Gupshup Outreach for Racial Action. (GORA). I was chosen at random and asked to participate. It was either this or jail time. Time will tell whether I made the right decision. So far, Gupshup has a slight edge over incarceration.

This reminds me of a joke, which I will translate and share in English, it might lose its potency but still….
A man died and went to hell, at the gate of hell he met with Lucifer, Lucifer told him that the hell is distributed in sections, rather wells; each well has a different group of people. - Always disobay law
- Find ways to break law
- chronic Desi do not know How to walk and cross street
- Can discuss any topic

- Very much patriotic but hesitate to pay tax in his / her Desi country
