Re: How many half Pakistani people have you come across?
I think only pak+afghan mix.
One famous person in pak had second wife Japanese, they were looking match of their daughter.
So must have a half pak / half japanese kids.
hmmm
pakistani and indian I know one 2 families.
But in restaurants I have seen middle aged pakistni men with white and philipino women so them must have kids too. etc.

Oh there's loads, but it's not like they're going to have 'mixed-race pakistani' tattooed on their foreheads for you to know lol.
Can often tell by the name (not that that's tattooed on their forehead either lol).. Kids who are half Indian or Pakistani often still have at least half a name that indicates their background and even amongst Muslims there are obviously names which are more commonly used in certain countries and cultures.. I used to go to school with a girl who was half Mauritian but she looked completely white and had a fully western name.. I didn't realise she was mixed till she actually told me.. She was an exception tho, can't think of anyone else I've come across like that..

That's true, I realised that too mainly with their surname being muslim/pakistani even if their forename is western. Another thing, I've realised is that most of these mixed race pakistanis are nearly always more into the pakistani culture than their other counterpart.

Really? I always thought the opposite.
Depends on the people involved and how much they value their cultural heritage and what their priorities are. There are plenty of full brown kids out there who don't speak a word of urdu or know a thing about their culture cause it wasn't a priority for their parents.
Re: How many half Pakistani people have you come across?
I'm being honest I live in London but never met so many mixed pakistanis, only a few, damn.
As a whole or percentage there aren't so many because arranged marriages tend to be the norm in most areas and a lot of parents won't accept a partner from a different ethnicity or culture.. Plenty of girls + guys born and bred in the UK have a hard time just trying to convince their parents to let them marry someone of their own choice full-stop..
You do come across mixed marriages with Pakistanis but it's not as common as it seems on here..
Re: How many half Pakistani people have you come across?
Quite a few. In most cases father was Pakistani, impregnated the mother, and then took off without taking responsibility of the kids. My mother befriended such a woman, her sons were like brothers to me, and she was like a mother. I spent a lot of time with them in my childhood.
They would even accompny us on our visits to Pak, and they would attend the same mosque as us. Their mother wanted them to be in touch with their father's religious and cultural background. She would cook us parathay and daal for sehri, the worst I've ever had. :)
Then we grew apart. Meet them every now and then, two of them married their pakistani cousins, the third an european girl.
