SD, when women say that they are cool with gays they are only referring to gay men. You two are not the only two females who find lesbians intimidating, I have yet to find a women, friends with lesbians, who does not have lesbian tendencies herself. And you cannot claim to be cool with homosexuality by only having gay men as friends.
