cant decide on bridesmaids..
I have 1 sister and alot of close friends. I would love to get my little cousins involved (they are all mostly under 11) especially on the mehndi day, any suggestion on what roles i can give them and if i do decide on bridesmaids what is expected of them?
Re: how many bridesmaid is normal?
I have lots of little girl cousins too. Having grown up in Canada, they have seen the Western tradition of flowers girls and keep asking me if they can be the flower girls at my wedding. So I'm gonna hand them baskets full of flowers on the Mendhi/or Baraat day to just enter and throw during the entrances. They are going to be SOOO excited about that!
As for the bridesmaids, there's no set limit. Although I do think it's very weird when there are TOO many of them. I would stick to making my sister and my closest friends my bridesmaids. Their job is to help you out with the wedding, not just stand there and look pretty (as I have seen unfortunately in some cases). So make sure that they are reliable and will help make your day special.
