Here is a question for all of you, How long you have been strict on vegetables and grains??
For me it is hard to restrict myself only on veges and on grains, I tried to make non veges after 4-5 days like fish and chicken (no beef & mutton) because my husband wants every day is a vege day.
I tend to be vegetarian, while my husband only eats meat in curry
Slowly he is learning to eat veggies without complaining too loudly, while I choke down meat at least 2/3 times a week.
My mother started me as a vegetarian very young (about 9) and it became mostly a habit. But if you go a while without meat, your body has a hard time digesting it. So 2/3 times a week I have a stomach ache (among other things). Also, had to include meat more after I had my kids.
Beef is too much, my system can’t handle it, mostly eat turkey and chicken, some fish. That’s it.
Same here Nilu, whenever I cooked meat my husband said plz cook veges for me andmeat for yourself, but it is difficult to make two dishes at a time in small quantity, so I prefer to eat veges, veges… then trying to make some chicken or fish, he likes fish so thats my yummy day
