How long will this current fashion last?

Hi All,

Okay so we all know extremely long kameezes, A line shirts, the gown style and the satin pati at the bottom of the damaan are all in fashion right now.

I post the question especially to those who currently live in Pakistan, from the time it first came out and about now, has the fashion started to die off? And my second question, how long do you think this will last?

You see I am getting married in 1.5 years, but can only go to Pakistan at the end of this year, meaning 1 yr before my wedding - for my Jahez clothes I don’t know whether I should make the current style or just the standard outfits?

I'd say make the standard outfits that won't give an outdated look even if pulled out a couple of years from now that would be your safest bet, however, make a few current trends but get the bulk of it in standard fashion that could be applicable in any fashion era. Its especially unhelpful when the fashion changes if your living abroad and your stuck with outdated outfits...if you go back to pakistan often then get the trendy outfits? However provided that you are going to go at the end of the year the fashion may be tweeked by then, provided that the long kameezes may still be in but may be tweeked to another embellishment something other than satin perhaps? i dunno for sure though but paki fashion i've noticed changes like that
