I’m getting my mehndi done on Thursday, have my mehndi function on friday night, then my wedding walima on sunday night. Will my mehndi still be dark for sunday?

keep it on all night thursday night and yes for sure, it'll still be dark. mehendi is usually darkest a couple of days after its applied, so its perfect timing. i was thinking of doing that too for mine... get it done on thursday in time for my mehendi on friday... but i know its going to be crazy busy on thursday with me running around and getting things done FOR friday... but get your manicure before your mehendi is what i've heard.

Thats exactly what i did...had my manicure done 1st then my mehndi and it was perfect for the wedding day. It will stay dark for all the functions.

my mehndi was applied on the night of the mehndi..guess tey made it part of the festivities

dont put mehndi just after waxing cauz the colour will not come. do the waxxing thingy 1 day before u want to put mehndi. and after putting mehndi when it dries put some lemon juice with the help of cotton on it the colour will become more darker.
