It depends on the relationship..it could last 6 months and be full of intensity and emotions and true love and another could last for 3 years and mean nothing. Time doesn't really matter. The amount of feelings you had for the other person and vice versa is truly what counts.
Personally I believe with time anyone can get over anyone else. You will never forget them but it is possible to move on.
