How long does it take to `mould `yourself and partner

i have seen couples change over time, everything takes time, and ive seen men and women complete oppsites and then slowly moulding alike…for eg, my dad never used to let my mum wear churidaar before when they first got married, not sure how long it took, but now he doesnt care what she wears, my uncle never used to help around the house, now he does after 7 years…my auntie used to get angry at the drop of a hat, now after few years shes calmed down alot..same with my cousin, she used to cry at the drop of hat, now shes a strong woman, after 6 7 years of marriage.

there are also negative stories,where people change for the worse.

so how longs it taken and at what cost/sacrifice?

ummm... it differs from person to person, you can't really generalize :)
Some change for better, some for worse and some don't change at all.

There was this bangalaDeshi use to work at my uncles place.
He told us, with black magic, his wife made him into a "makhi"(fly) for sevreal years.

Then when she made him a man again, he ran away and came to pakistan.

Think about that...

^ Totally agree. It can takes weeks or years....and sometimes people don't change at all.
