I went to my doctor for medication (i had very mild acne, only get a couple of spots at a time but the leave obvious blemishes).
He prescribed antibiotics and gave me some skin cream. Both worked immediately, they spots that were already there obviously remained but cleared faster than normal. No new spots grew from the day I took the first antibiotic.
I think my hair will go white waiting for ordinary acne products you can buy from pharmacists.

nothing worked on me...a visit to the gp made my skin worse tbh!
i have these massive cystic spot growing inside my skin on the upper cheeks and it it so deep red..it just doesnt not want to pop or dispappear :(
I have given up on all treatments.
the best thing is to forget about your spots and live you live. Bit hard to do since my wedding is in 2 weeks but oh well , i'll go crazy if i keep thinking about it.

It depends on your skin, it may take up short or long. I think some products have a result on its first week but some products took long to see the effects in our skin. You will also need to use the products that match your skin type to avoid skin problems and breakouts.
