how long did you wait to have another baby

what is a good amount of time to wait before having another baby? obviously answers will vary but just curious what others think

Your body needs 3 months minimum to recover but 6 months is better. Thats the biological part. The other part - that of being pregnant while caring for an infant, having a larger family, dealing with the timing of potty training, school etc...thats all a personal issue. Some like to space things out and some like to group it together. I went for 3 in a row, very close together and I love it this way. My 3 boys always have playmates and even though things get noisy and crazy, they really are the best of friends.

We waited 4 years to have our second one, lets see how it goes... will be able to tell after a couple of years I guess :)

We waited 2 years. So my son was 2 years 9 months when his sister was born :)

i think between a year to two years is a good age gap. i know it'll make thep arents go crazy the first couple of years while they're still babies, but i think it works out really well in the end. i find siblings are more close to each other, when there's not too much age gap between them.

mama - what's the age gap between your three boys?

Theres 14 months between oldest and middlest. Number 3 came along 21 months later (there was a miscarriage between number 2 and number 3 sons).

as much as my first has put my off of having anymore kids. i woudl like to have one ready to pop by the time my kid is 2. i dont want a big gap between my kids...

in theory its all good... now i just have to get around to selling the case to my brain :D

I miss being pregnant....but that's not good of an excuse to have another one when my dear baby is just 5 weeks old and I am happily sleep deprived...

I will wait about 2 years...:)
