I know you are in a tough situation with your husband’s attitude. Truth is, noone can really predict with people, everyone reacts differently. And takes a different amount of time. I think your best bet is to be supportive and loving to him, and where you can, without annoying him, make your presence and support FELT. If he retreats to another room in solitude, then sometimes go and sit with him. You are the best judge as to when to tentatively begin trying this. Then he will slowly get used to having you around in his harder times. Only when you DO do this, do not force more than your SILENT presence on him. Don’t meddle him with questions or anything. Tried and tested btw.
