Say a guy is hurt or upset or going through personal problems or career problems or something. He is a little in his own world, in his cave as is said. He is aloof and distant in terms of communicating, sharing and not intimate but kind to you still.

How long do you think does it take till he comes back?

This is bachelor behavior. I’m sure you have remnants of it too. Everyone deserves a break from people every now and then and time in their caves, men and women alike. But in a marriage, these patterns need to be actively broken and both in a couple are to get used to relying on one another. This takes active effort, and sometimes total compromise from only one side who is bringing this change about. That is what I meant by the previous post. Begin wandering into his cave and slowly establish that he has a partner to share his hurt with. It’s a slow and long process, but the time it takes is nothing when viewed through the spectrum of a lifetime together inshallah. Good luck!
