Well Mr. History professor, guess you can also tell us which history books you got the part about 'beat beat peapul' and 'children they beat, ladies they beat, old peapul they beat'. Must be interesting books. Who were they written by, RSS and BJP?

^^ angry young man good point about the mentioned hazrat shab, i have also heard that hindus also go to ajmer sharif which is also in india.

the reason most of the hindus converted was because they were from los castes and were treated worse than animals by the high caste hindus....
when they saw the equality and justics in Islam, they accepted this true faith....
no one converts by force, not for generations....

1/ Did not Muslim invaders destroy temples of Hindu and other faiths in India on the name of Islam and Jihad? What are the excuses?
2/ Are you sure that all natives (converts) of Indian subcontinent joined Islam voluntarily?
By the way Islam entered India sometime in 9th century with Arab traders via Kerala..

they usually married rajputs employed high caste hindus in administration
stayed aloof from masses.

Islam in the Indian Sub-continent was spread mainly due to the Great Sufis such as Data Ganj Bakhsh, Nizam-ud-din Aulia, etc etc. The other main factor was the arab traders in the early days of Islam. That is a fact and no one can deny that.
As far as the muslim rulers go, in those days, most kings used to be tyrants and were cruel- part of the job description- so you can't isolate muslims for that kind of abuse. They were not especially cruel towards non-muslim masses but were more interested in dealing with the court intrigues etc. In general, the muslim sultanates were very tolerant societies and there was no genocide of hindus anywhere. You had the odd "Mahmood Ghaznavi" type of greedy opportunists who showed no regard of others culture but they were a minority.
If it weren't for the sufis, there would not have been such a large number of muslims in Indo-Pak today. I know that my forefathers accepted Islam by going to Data Darbar in 11th Century!!

But the very first Muslim attack on India in Sindh in the year 715 C.E. These Muslim invaders were Arabs led by
Mohammad Bin Qasim. They had displaced Raja Dabir who ruled Sindh from his

that Raja Dabir was aiding the Iranian (Zoroastrian) princes in trying to
overthrow the Arab Rule in Persia. This seems to be a fact as many Sassanian
nobles from Iran had taken refuge in Sindh and were plotting for the
liberation of their country from the Arab yoke. But the pretext given by Arab
historians for the Arab invasion of Sindh is that Raja Dabir's navy had
detained an Arab merchant ship. To avenge this detention of a merchant ship,
the Arabs overran the entire kingdom of Raja Dabir as also the neighbouring
kingdom of Mulasthana (Multan).

pakistan always different otherwise you would not have separated from bangaldesh. always arab have good trade relations with other coastal areas there was no conflict between them it is dahir shas involvent
