How is the job market in Pak for people from abroad?

One of my friend, he lives in US, thinking about moving to Pak and getting a job there. He has done BS in biology and a masters in health science. What are his chances of getting a job in karachi? Would it pay enough? I already told him he won’t like it there and job would be hard but he told me to ask around. So any idea? PS - he has no job experience, couple of research, thats it

Priaparation is the key

Re: How is the job market in Pak for people from abroad?

There are almost no jobs in his field, most jobs in pakistan are in the finance/banking sector, and that's where the "higher" paying jobs are, and it's hard to get work in Pakistan unless you know people, if he's got that sorted then he shouldn't worry.

There might be universities in Pakistan looking for Western-educated professors, so he could possibly land a job as one.

The best bet is for foreign qualified faculty member in universities across Pakistan. A US degree is more valued than for example from China or East Asia like Malaysia. I don't know for sure but he can also look for a place in some pharmaceutical company in Karachi. With masters in health sciences, may be he can get some place but I'm not very familiar with the industry.
