My ammi heard something about a “Roti” that this special Roti thing started from Makkah or Madina and if you have any kkind of wish , you ll have to pick that Roti from any woman who already has that Roti for her wish and put it in a box with sugar and " Chay ki patti" and then leave it for ten days .
After ten days , open that box and if you find that Roti:confused: doubled .It means that your wish can be fullfilled and if you find your roti kharab si…then dont you ever think about that wish again..
I didnt want to belive this thing but my mother was sooo curious(like all desi mothers:D ) so when she tried this thing, she found two rotis in her box…i was so surprised ..i also saw that roti…bilkul aik jaisi thi dono:eek:

Yeah I have heard about it and seen it too. Honestly it doesn’t look like 2 rotis. Barbie is kind of exaggerating the story. A roti let sit for several days tends to accumulate yeast resulting in increase of the size of roti in the form of several layers. That’s all it is folks.

Sunan Abu-Dawood, Book 28, Number 3874:
Narrated Abdullah ibn Mas'ud:
Zaynab, the wife of Abdullah ibn Mas'ud, told that Abdullah said: I heard the Apostle of Allah (peace_be_upon_him) saying: spells, charms and love-potions are polytheism.
I asked: Why do you say this? I swear by Allah, when my eye was discharging I used to go to so-and-so, the Jew, who applied a spell to me. When he applied the spell to me, it calmed down. Abdullah said:
That was just the work of the Devil who was picking it with his hand, and when he uttered the spell on it, he desisted. All you need to do is to say as the Apostle of Allah (peace_be_upon_him) used to say: Remove the harm, O Lord of men, and heal. Thou art the Healer. There is no remedy but Thine which leaves no disease behind.
This is exactly what they do when they play blackmagic on others. They seek shayateens for help, and the shayateens help them. The same is done when any other magic is done. It is just another form of shirk. Try to stay away from it.
Somebody started this "roti" thing in Mecca or Medina
where they took one roti ...put it in a container, made awish and when the container was opened and the 1 roti had turned into 2
like a "buy one get one free deal"
anyway, if tehre were two , you'd know your wish would be fulfilled, and you then gave the "roti" to another woman who would do the same
first of all NOBODY is that generous.... thats the reason why the genie of the lamp can only offer three wishes...nobody would pass it on otherwise
All in all it seems a little far fetched to me...but this world has a great deal of unexplained phenomena
so who knows
