We are cooking a bird but dont know what it was called. It was dead so I could not ask

days off from work can be a good time.
or if made, it can also turn into a bad time/s, which can either become worse or take a turn.
the good time option obviously feels, easy & practical.

I didnt cook I ate!!!! I was off the hook cuz i had to work thanksgiving day.

it was NUTS…i made turkey, stuffing, gravy, potatoes, creamed onions, green bean casserole, brocc and cauliflower in cheese sauce, crescent rolls. My sis made more tuurkey, sweet potatoes, turnip. It was QUITE the feast 
Now I’m still cleaning up and making soup from the turkey bones…smells heavenly!

and sheesh man...I'm an animal lover. My fave animal is sheep. Yet, i accept the fact that I'm a meat-a-saurus. I love to eat them too. I'd not eat one that I raised myself but since I dont live on a farm, all meat is fair game!!!

It is not any kind of idol worshiping , religious polytheist kind of holiday , if you will it can be most Islamic American holiday as Islam teaches us to thank Allah every moment of our lives. So if we thank Allah once a year with all the fervor for 4 days in addition to thanking him every moment of our lives then why not ?
