Husband has a good steady job with a good income. wife’s parents have money saved for her say 10,000 pounds but is not working. now, i know husband is the sole provider but is it really that important that the wife works. what if the wife has difficulty in finding a job even though she is educated. hmmm…

If the husband is ok with the wife not working…then that’s all that matters. Once again, this is one of situations where we don’t know the couple’s private values/goals or their reasons. So as long as the husband/wife is ok with the wife not working (for whatever reason), then I see nothing wrong with it.
