Is it really an imp item to have or any ordinary pillow can help supporting or even it can work without any support at all? I think it can only help at night when you are really sleepy and need to feed and possibly can fall asleep. What do you experinced moms say?

The Boppy was the most indispensable item I had!! I think it was the main reason I was able to breastfeed so well, I used it all day. It's great for tummy time too, and once baby is able to sit up, it's a wonderful support.

i used "my brest friend" everytime i breast fed and loved it!

I had it but did not use it a lot,esp for breast feeding.It got some use when my baby started to sit.

It was really helpful. Even use it to prop the baby up. Used it for a good 6-8 months.

Had it, didn't use it at all.

had it ... didn't find it useful for breastfeeding at all .. but did get use out of it to prop baby up initially and then as support when she started to sit up.
now she just plays with it as a toy ... carrying it here n there and "storing" her toys in it :D

I had it but never used it... Used regular pillow ...though it was very helpful during roadtrips for breastfeeding n feeding
