Thanks Dope for deep concern on my paintings.

I am known as Maria, which is my name ofcourse. I have been painting since my childhood. It is due to the talent which runs through the family. My grandfather was an artist and the talent transferd into my father. Yes, he also paints.

My mother is also an artist. She is cousin of my Dad.:slight_smile: She won the Gold Medal on her portrait of Quid-e-Azam with Gandhi through out Punjab.

My elder sister is also an artist so I was a born artist.:cool: One thing I would like to mention, I never asked for aid or guidence through out my carier. I did my own, I am selfthaught. Even my Professor didnot teach me but allowed me to teach my class fellows. Huh, I have been teaching since teen age.

I paint in all the mediums. As I like change. So, a few months back I went into digital art. My expireince in Digital Art is 9 months.:stuck_out_tongue: Yes, very new. And I also dont have a tablet yet, which is the key tool of digital art.

I paint in the early morning, before and after Fajr prayer and after noon. I dont sleep the whole day and paint.

In Digital Art, I am inspired by an artist named Joel Cooper lives in USA. He is a wonderful portrait artist and has an experience of 20 years. We are both published in Ballistic Publishing book of Painter. My painting also won an award. Sliver award from Ballistic

good lord, I can't stop being jealous of you. I have never tried digital painting and I am a newbie in traditional painting mediums too. I am more of a sketcher. But you inspire me. Downloading corel painter as I type. Am gonna try making some paintings, will ask for your guidance if I need it. :)

Out of curiosity, what is this thread doing in Culture? Shouldn't it be in Image or General?
