I have a serious question. I know drinking beer is haram but it contains a small amount of alcohol and u won’t get drunk or anything with one can and the whole purpose of not drinking alcohol is to avoid getting drunk which drinking beer does not do. It’s also important like if u want to meet up with coworkers after work which is usually at a bar. So how haram is beer like on a scale of 1 to 10?

haramness ki koyi scale nahin hoti. Haram is haram, whether we talk about beer or haram meat etc. Islam is such a beautiful religion, jo cheez hamare liye sahi nahin, wohi haram hai. Why would you want to intoxicate your body with alcohol? Your could easily drink something else when you meet up with your co-workers & if you don’t feel comfortable at the bar, just keep the conversations and friendship while you’re at work and just go home right after
