my question is to guys and girls both ..

I am very bad in that, in fact sometimes I adopt the latest trends towards the very end of them and then cling on to them for longer than required.

For instance, I might be amongst the last group to switch from wide neck ties to skinny ones and vice versa.

Is that a guy thing or girls are like that too?

People who adopt a certain fashion when they are left with no other option or the last one to try a new product are called "Laggards" (16%) according to Diffusion of Innovation Theory.

Anyway I belong to "Early Adopters" category (14%) that fall right after Innovators (only 2%)

If I am going to buy something I just google and whatever comes up I assume is upto date =D Though for me comfort over fahsion

I dnt really care what is "in", if I like it then I buy it (and I'll wear it till I can't wear it no more), if I don't like it then I dnt care if the whole of hollywood is wearing it...i'll still think it is hideous!

I don't really follow the latest fashion trends, i just wear what i fancy

well girls a family member is arriving from pakistan and one of my cousins asked me what i'd like. I mentioned liking those paneled dresses, something mendhi like and she said she wants to design something for me. So iw as like oh that's really nice ok. well then she told me it's like got dhoti salwar...umm i was never a big fan of that but whenever i wore it lots of other people were bc it was unique here in houston. however i was wondering is that back in style with like a open front jacket? thats kinda what she described...i'm confused at how that would look and if that's trending.
