i’m booking my flights and the best fares i found i on**** Qatar Airways****. i have never flown with them before…have you? if you did, how did you find their services both on the ground as well as in the air? how would you rate the airline:

I get discounts on qatar. My chachoo works for them :D. And theyre somewhere between one and two. Legroom is excellent

really good value for money. I was actually in toronto not too long ago. Loved it :). It was my first time in canada i drove up with a couple of friends from NY. Was given a bit of hassle at customs coming into canada lol

oh wow! i'm deffo taling Qatar Airways this time, iA...the ONLY problem is that it involves one extra connection thru Montreal...well, can't be choosers :D

lol. Qatar is up and coming. Its often dubbed "the next dubai", minus the amount of debt dubai is in right now but qatar could learn a thing or two from dubai in that sense

**ahaaN...what's the relationship, if any, between Bahrain and Qatar...they are so tiny that it's hard for me to make a geographical difference. do we need visa to enter Qatar/Bahrain?

well i didnt cuz im a british passport holder. But im not sure about yourself. The difference is none, culturally speaking. Geographically i think qatar might be slightly bigger though dont quote me on that. There are border disputes going on right now. The qatar bahrain causeway is due to get underway shortly aswell (road and rail network connecting both of them). Also i dont know if youre aware but qatar just got the soccer world cup recently (hosts) which means hell of a lot of investments.

yup...it will be a big boost to the local economy but it's gonna be a big headache for poor people living there in terms of extra traffic on their roads. i think it's worth it!

i’ve a question for you…since u live in Edinburgh, you are the right person to ask i guess!
we have a street called Edinburgh Street…most Desis pronounce as Edinburgh [like we pronounce Pittsburgh…and, i find it more logical] while most Canadians pronounce as**** Edin-Bra**** [lol @ latter part 
]…why do they pronounce this way while spellings of the word does NOT support it…is there some kinda regional twist there?**

to answer your question i would say there is hardly any difference in how we talk in Canada and across the border. the difference is basically in how we spell words...we have two dictionaries available...one Canadian and one American...Americans have over simplified it like check for cheque. in Canada we still use cheques and get an error lol...i must admit that American spellings are catching on in Canada as well.**

oh achchhaa...i think your assessment is correct...i hear more praise than negative criticism. i bought my ticket today...i saved $111 as compared to the lowest fare that was available...i paid $989 to Bombay :) their seat sale just started today. :)

Wow, $989 sounds like a steal.
It's pretty good. We are actually flying Qatar this December. Doha airport was OK 3 years back. They used to have lounges that you could use for longer layovers. Not sure now. Guess will find out soon.

**yeah, it is indeed! actually i was the one of the first customers to buy because this seat/promotional sale just got underway today. i couldn't believe my eyes when i saw it. i should have bought a lottery ticket as well :D
yeah, will find that out. i think Qatari Govt injected a lot of money into this airline in order to compete with Etihad N Emirates. let's see how they perform over the next few years. :)**
