Re: How good does Pakistan have to get for you to move back?
peopel move back and forth, and while many 2nd generation indians have moved to india for opprtunity, the vast majority ae staying put, and larger numbers are leaving India.
Now as far as Pakistan goes, teh answer would vary by person I suppose, but its not just about opportunity, otherwise we would all be trying to get to china I suppose. its lifestyle, security, and ability to be able to do what one does here, or suitable alternates.
I would consider anything really, however at the same time, unlike my foljs who moved about and lived like gypsies all their lives, for the sake of their families and responsibilitis first and then for carer and then for kids, I want to have some sort of roots at one place, even if it means I move around, but there is one place I call home. Thak god for my folks that we always kept our home in London and spent summers there so we had a sense of a home a constant in our life.
I will consider moving back, but it is not just about opportunity
