will u go to do something that you thought was right even if everyone else thought it’s not? are u someone who can stick to their principals and word and not give a damn about what anyone else says?
Re: how far
I do think first like Quaid say "think 100 times before you act" , but still listen others.
Would value others openion as per their weight , i mean experience , knowledge and sincerity etc.
I think we humainbeing so interdependent on each others , we need some one to drive us to our duties or at least fix our car etc , to sew our clothes or fix our computor ...... and so on.
I only me would be not able to do all jobs by myself but would need others help so like wise would be for understanding in things I would need others view.
Re: how far
I would go all the way. My sense of right and wrong is not dictated by how many people approve of it. As Muslims, the boundaries of right and wrong are clearly defined for us. We aren't required to take into account how many xyz's agree with it or approve it.
Re: how far
In that case what you think is right is just a perspective. I don't usually spend too much time fighting battles that take valuable time and energy just to prove what I think is right.
Re: how far
how do you know there are some battles going on? cant you think of any other scenario where my question can fit in?

This answer is closest to my heart.
In most cases, if it is not about breaking a law, then what we think is right is just our perspective. To judge someone impartially, one has to detach from one's own self. Unless you completely understand your own self and how your self formed, it is impossible to be impartial.
I stick to me principles without forcing them onto others.

Personally I try to avoid conflicts (if avoidable) and then I think there always is a proper way to say right thing. Many of us dont understand that you need to say right things in right way too. Sometime saying right thing in wrong way/tone just kills it. For example you can call your father "father" or you can call him "mother's husband" ....... choice is yours!
Re: how far
hey that is so true! never thought about it from that angle and viewpoint:)
