It’s not only about getting your adrenaline pumping and living life on edge but just bringing change in your life so you’re not living the norm.
Like would you randomly move to another country, anywhere from Netherlands to Lebanon ? Start a new life (even if it’s for a short period). Find new jobs, your dream home, and discover something everyday. Enjoy and discover.
Or would you go for some short-term(adrenaline pumping) adventures like skydiving, do the flying birdman, kayaking, etc.?
Or maybe just decide a trip with buddies in less than a day and go.
So what is adventure to you and how far are you willing to go to get it?
As far as my purse will allow me. I like adrenaline pumping advenchur, definitely. Like, rock-climbing (although haven't done it recently cos there's only the indoor ones available to me :() or bungee jumping (planning for my burday!)
I guess most people will see themselves as adventurous, its just that some many not see themselves as having the opportunity to follow every whim? I dunno. Also, people let themselves get bogged down by the everyday chores which stop them from doing stuff.
Hmmm for me when I was the wild child of my parents and surplus to requirments in this world... I was young and free. There seemed absolutely no limits to my stupidity and daring...
But alas now I am married and supposedly respectable, offcourse in some ever dwindling circles my mad comrades and I still discuss plans for a resurgence but that will not be for some time now.
Until my children are not able to reach the age in which they can look after the affiars I now run, I am temporarily on hold. It however pleases me to know that by the time they are old enough Insha-Allah I'll still be mobile enough to do some more crazy adventures.
I shall wait and see what Allah has in store for me, but in my fammily I still hold the position of the crazy wild child.
^ Ussually your in the hands of experts and they have lots of training. I cant even afford to entertain the notion that the rope might break... that would frighten even me. I try and do it for a good cause though like a charity or to bring attention to some opressed peoples plight.
That way just in case the rope does break you died for a good cause. ;)
i've plans to go to** Timbuktu**** :)...they used to say...*"ONLY half the people, who dared to go to Timbuktu, live to tell about their adventurous journey"*...but, thanx to modern day means of transportation, i plan to live and tell my story, inshaa Allah :)
i'm looking for an 'interesting' partner to take that epic journey together! ;)

I ussually found that the best adventures are done alone. I simply cant trust anyone to lead or follow me in some places... If I was going to go further affield then I would definatley prefer solo trips. In fact the best adventures are far from human habitations.
^ Sounds like a plan… we will have to leave the horses at Deosai and carry on via other transport. I only got to Concordia by Helicopter… I imagine it would take weeks to trek it on foot…
Another place I really got to see again is Ranikot fort. Its supposed to be the worlds biggest fort and I only saw it from a distance… would be cool to explore it close up. I love checking out castles and forts just becuase I feel they have so much to share…
