Depends…

If it is something I don’t know much about or don’t have a strong opinion about…then I’m fairly easy.

If it is something that I have a previous strong opinion about…then I’m difficult to presuade.

And what about cosmetic products or other items?

I have to admit that whenever I see tv ads of products such as the nicer dicer, then I want to buy it right away.
The price of it however unpersuades me :-/

Yeah I used to be super easy to persuade before (regarding ads and such) but a couple of years back I took a class that focused on commercialization and such… ever since I am been very wary of any ads. I rarely fall for any commercials or ads anymore.

For cosmetics, I am usually only persuaded to buy something if someone I know or trust has tried it and liked it.

Edit: the exception is paid programming/infomercials…don’t know what it is about them but no matter what product they are selling…5 mins in and I want to buy it!

Guac share tips from the class. I feel being at home as made me easy target for the lawns and designer clothes. And all the 'must have ’ cosmetics, fashion and all that.

I meant it in general, could be anything. I edited the original posts.

I know a lot of ads make products look better than they are. But still want to buy certain items…
