OK the best application for mascara is as follows:
Holding a mirror and tip your head little back, look ahead, start application at the root of the lashes, best place to start is the middle, wiggle the wand slightly towards outer end of lashes and hold for a few seconds. Then using same technique apply to the side of the lashes but do not put wand back into mascara otherwise you will have heavy coverage at the end of lashes. Before the mascara dries, take a lash comb and comb through the lashes to separate them. Use same technique for the other eye. Give the mascara around 5 minutes to dry and then repeat procedure. **Under no condition wipe your mascara wand onto anything as you could transfer bacteria to your eye and also never, ever share your mascara with others, or use water to thin the mascara as this is a recipe for bacteria to multiply. **Good luck. I have a mascara by estee lauder and the brush has a very thin comb at one end which really spreads out the lashes well. Clogging is mostly due to old/thick mascara or then too much product on the wand me thinks.
yeah... change your mascara every 6 months, otherwise its all germy. it also expires, doesn't it? mine just gets dry and clumpy and thats my cue to toss it out.

I just remembered the most amazing mascara I used to use back in the day when I had monies, its by Pout. It was really really good, really thin brush or ‘wand’ as youse like call it. I’v never cleaned mine, didnt realise you had to.
How else was I meant to come back..with a band baja? oooo better yet dhol walay? eesh. :p

Those are probably fake eyelashes.Try Volume Exact by Covergirl.Its pretty good.I usually put on 3-4 coats and I dont get any clumps.Why don't you try fake eyelashes for your birthday?
I normally apply them with my eyes open looking in the mirror really close so my nose is almost touching the mirror i look up and just wave the wand gently under my lashes.
