Yes, I would assume that is the biggest source of income for Mirpur, since I think much of the Pakistani community in the UK is from the Mirpur District.
All the things you’ve mentioned are good factors to measure or determine how modern somewhere is.
It’s just on the news etc you see women in Islamabad working in jobs that might be traditionally associated to men. Women don’t look as dependent on their male counterparts in the bigger cities, I wanted to know if this the same for Mirpur.
In terms of pricing and trends etc I think it is modern, but that maybe because of the oversea influence.
