How does Gupshup sustain itself???

I have come to this forum mainly to understand the country called pakistan and to know about Islam. Though my experiences have not always been pleasant, I am astounded by the site. The site has very good moderators and has many posters who agree to disagree without being disagreeable…

My question here is what is the economic model behind gupshup. I dont find any ads and the site is very well maintained. The speed is excellent and that means a lot of money has been invested in the servers…

I wanted to ask this question as well. How is GS maintained? It's not cheap purchasing/maintaining servers and the bandwidth. Would anyone mind sharing the secret with the curious ones? :)
