Well India is different. Growing up, a tradition in Pakistan was that children accompanied their father/grand father/older siblings to Jumma prayer. Everyone dressed up in khameez shalwar (because that is all it is good for, a ceremonial dress), and we usually walked to the bigger mosque. Following that, we all had lunch at home. We weren’t doing anything special, everyone around us did the same.
