How does chocolate work!

According to research, chocolate has got a large amount of antioxidants called flavinoids. There is Stearic acid in chocolate which keeps blood pressure from getting high and by decreasing the platelet activity in the blood, reduces the clotting. This reduces the risks of heart attacks and strokes.

There are chemicals in chocolate called Tannins. These don’t let cavities form. The antioxidants in chocolate prevent cell damage and other chronic diseases. There is Oleic acid in chocolate which lowers blood cholesterol levels.

This is how chocolate works by fulfilling our craving and boosts our energy a little, at the same time being good for our health as well.

Re: How does chocolate work!

For people who are on strict diet plan and they can't eat chocolate, there are also alternatives in the shape of anti-oxidants which relatively get the job done and they come with no added fat content. Anti-oxidant juices, for example, are one such type.

There is no substitute for chocolates, however.
