I’m not married yet, but I’m about to, but if he comes home and I’m already home, I’d make sure the food is ready, I’ll try to look ‘nice’ for him and say salaam and hug him when he opens the door.
If we come home at the same time, I’d ask him to go fresh up & then join me in the kitchen so we can talk while I’m cooking
