I have a few stick of miswak lying around. they’re dry.. how do i prep them for use? how do i use them?

The stick has a bark around it. Cut off the bark with a knife off one end to a length that u feel appropriate..around one inch. It comes off easily. Now wash it, and either bite into the exposed strands to let them loose, or crush them with something heavy so that you have a 'hairy' miswak.
A quick way of using it is to rub it all over your teeth like you would a toothbrush. Another way is to just bite into it and chew it softly for long periods of time.
