How do you store your jewelery

Gold jewelery I mean, if you don’t keep it in a locker at the bank, how do you keep it at home? is it safe to put several pieces in one box/container or should sets always be in separate boxes/containers?

umm .. heavy ones in locker, light ones I keep with the imitation jewelery in a big giant antique looking sectional jewelery box.

ummm…all over my place…never locked…I know am careless…that is why most of my stuff is with mom…can’t be bothered

i have my heavy ones in a locker at the bank and the other ones are kept in the boxes they came which is all stored in a bag

Thanks guys but my question was ore along the lines of, is it "safe" to keep gold jewelery all bunched up together and/or with artificial jewelery? Someone told me that can make it dull and lose its luster..

Well..it might be true…am not sure, but I have seen it happening with silver…the silver gets dull if you mix it with junk jewelery.

its better to store up in boxes safely other wise the stones,zircones get scrathes and may fall out .chaines get bundle up there are many reasons so it better to keep them seperatly in boxes or arrange in big jewelry box accordingly.

yea i've heard that as well i'm sure there is some truth to it anyways yea i keep my gold jewellery seperate and in their own boxes that way they don't get messed up

im so lazy its all crumpled in one box ever since i had it weighed for zakaat!! must get it back into its original boxes, but i did sort of lump it together for a while when i was travelling, its a big no no, cause a lot of stones fell out :( so always keep them separate in their own boxes
