I store rice in empty milk powder tin or just keep it in the original rice bag. But what we do is that we put a stone of phitkari in it . The PHITKARI keeps rice in good condition .
Now what is PHITKARI go figure.....cuz I don't know what it is called in english :@:

Re: How do you store atta/rice?
I store rice in a plastic container ... but for atta it remains in its original pack.. ~I just fold it on the top after taking some out every time ... but i have kept them in the airy spot in my kitchen away from heat and moisture ...
Re: How do you store atta/rice?
I keep them in their original bag. I do not think I want to add another duty (to my list of chores) of emptying the bag in some container
Re: How do you store atta/rice?
I think in warmer countries they have to empty the bags into airtight containers ... But I colder countries , Its must easier to store things in their packets ...
What ever you store them in , just ensure its put in an airy and dry place ...
