This reminds me of a joke from some desi drama.The girl asks her teacher

"Sir English main sharm/hayaa ko kia kehtay hain"

Since he couldnt recall or didnt know , he replied

"Vo kia hai kay , AngraizoN main sharm aur hayaa hoti he nahen, tau iss ke liye koi lafz nahen haiN"
