From a Christian perspective, I can but state what Jesus taught: Let no-one call you Teacher (Rabbi/scholar).

So everyone is a student but how do you determine the status of a scholar in Christianity then. Like how are different positions given i.e. Pastor, Bishop, Priest, Minister, Reverend etc.
