Re: How do you qualify a scholar?
According to Quran and the sayings of Prophet Mohammad(S)
1.Seek knowledge even if that be in China.
2.Those who are learned know god more better and are afraid of him.
3.How that who is a learned be compared to the one not learned.
4.Among the owner of the Book there are people who are afraid of God 5.Almighty and wake at night for prayers.
If you are a learned man you are a scholar and that needs not a degree, but it is essential to become well known to something. For that on has to make a search for a sincere and able teacher who are rare.
