As in your brother’s wife? I dont have one so I dont know ![]()
Normally people give a twisted answer to this question, I wanna know exactly how they feel.
Re: How do you like your bhabhi?
My bhabi bakes the most incredible brownies in the world. I love her.

Re: How do you like your bhabhi?
well, my bhabi is my best friend.....
She's my mamoon ki beti and we had a very close friendship bachpan se hi. :)
Re: How do you like your bhabhi?
:( i don't have one rite now
Re: How do you like your bhabhi?
I don't have any but I am a bhabhi myself.:)
So I can't answer your question but I would like to say....bhabhis can be anything from very good to very bad, just like any other relationships...but please don't be judgemental before even having one or even without spending some time with them
I had some trouble with younger sil coz her friends filled her head with all the negative things about bhabhis (she was veryyy young at that time n you know peers do influence your opinion at that age) .....but that was the veryyy beginning and i'm happy to say she is my bestest sil at the moment.May Allah bless her in every way, amen.
A marriage is a union of families, at least in our culture. So everyone does get nervous about it. Its not just the bride. I would say keep an open mind and treat the way you want to be treated. AND allow some room for the mistakes. I can tell you from experience, You'll not regret it.:)
Re: How do you like your bhabhi?
I am blessed with some of the bestest bhabhis alhamdulillah :) They are all very sweet and caring but then "you get what you give" in most cases too.
Re: How do you like your bhabhi?
dua kero meree bhee jaldee se aa jaien, phir mai aap ko apna experience bata doongee. :)
Re: How do you like your bhabhi?
I wasnt being judgmental, I was wondering why you never get a straight forward answer from people.
Re: How do you like your bhabhi?
I dont have any yet ![]()
Re: How do you like your bhabhi?
Cousin bhabhis- one of them is very reserved and quiet so its a diplomatic approach from her. The other is a sweetie pie- all grown up as per her role infront of the elders and girly fun when we gals get together.
I give both of them a lot of credit, they have earned lots of love and respect and some times things have not been easy but they have held their ground very well... Love u bhabz!
Re: How do you like your bhabhi?
I don't like my husband's brother's wife at all. She is spoilt. Stuck up and has no socialising skills whatsoever. I am complete opposites of her. Her personality is like 180 degrees different to mine. I tried to like her initially but then gave up. I am not going to change who I am because of her attitude problems. In 3 years of her marriage to my husband's brother she has not once picked up the phone to call us and even say "hello". I think in order to get respect, you have to give it and I am all for giving respect but when I don't get it back, I don't bother anymore. Especially when the person is younger than me !
Anyways, I don't like my bhabi...thats the point !
Re: How do you like your bhabhi?
^ Then get rid of her…

Re: How do you like your bhabhi/nand?
Diva, that's too bad about your sil. I have to admit that I'm a bit worried about when my brother-in-law gets married. There's no prospects yet but he's in his late 20's so it's bound to happen soon. I'm worried because the type of girl he wants is the total opposite of me. Another worry is that my mil is not easy to get along with and I don't want to be in the middle of family clashes. My mil is a self-confessed spoiled woman. Everyone lets her get away with her numerous whims and obsessions, shopping etc. She rules over everyone and shuts everyone up so she can do whatever she wants. I'm very simple, quiet, total opposite. So if this next sil is spoiled also, I'm afraid of what may happen.
My brother is married and I get along well with that sil. She is much younger than me so I always get the feeling that she's intimidated by me. We're not best friends but we're civil to eachother. Considering how little time we've spent together I'd say that's enough. I do worry though about how well she may treat my (our) parents when they're older. I'm living so far away and my brother and sil are going to live in the same city as our parents.
