DecentGuy made a good point about flow of communication. There should be a feeling of comfort when talking to a person. If someone is genuinely interested in you, they’ll maintain communication…it won’t be flakey. Look for consistency in their words/beliefs and between words and actions. Social media, if they use it, might provide some insight. How they interact with their family, friends, elders, etc can also give you some clues. How they respond in times of stress…and..do they have the ability to see things from another’s perspective, to apologize etc. But as mentioned earlier, you need a good amount of time to look out for these things. Beware the person who comes on strong way too fast because usually those strong sentiments will fizzle out just as quickly as they begun. I understand that it’s not something everyone feels comfortable with, but I personally have faith in istikhara…so that’s something you can look into as well for guidance.
