Pay attention to his actions...maybe even the lack thereof. Anyone can say the right things...utter some pretty words/compliments....but do his actions match up with his words/perspectives/beliefs or contradict them? Consistency..both positive and negative will give you some insight as well.

observation through time...how he treats other ppl arnd him, his actions, words, views....i think if u give someone 3-4 yrs their true self shows thru...so just take it slow, talk to him, keep talking to him, interact with him a bit...if u guys keep it going strong for 3-4 yrs..marry him...otherwise iA something else will come along
