Dry cleaning would be crazy expensive if we dry clean a really heavily embroidered, formal lengha or salwar kameez.
We wear them so many times for different occasions.
Do you go to Pakistan every year to get them cleaned by professionals there? What do you all do?

I get mine dry cleaned. Easiest option.

Getting a heavy formal dry cleaned here is a lot cheaper than buying 1 plane ticket to Pakistan.

Dry cleaning does not ruin it right? i’ve worn it 3 times and it’s time for a cleaning and I don’t want to ruin my love, my favorite lengha:wub:. I’ve never dry cleaned any clothes before.
Obviously I meant that when you go to Pakistan for fun to visit family and as a extra thing you remember to get all your formals cleaned not just to do that…duh.

^ If you go to a good dry cleaner, it should not ruin the clothing. Is there a dry cleaner you use for your clothes regularly? If not, find a dry cleaner and have them clean another suit....one that's not our favorite and see how that goes. Of course, before giving them the suit....make sure and ask them if they've dry cleaned suits like this before and if yours can be cleaned without ruining it.

Lol.. But not everyone can travel for fun duh i went karachi this summer and all my heavy formals i brought back with me and had them dry cleaned. It doesnt ruin your clothes especially if you go to someone who knows what they are doing..
