No, not at all. In fact, our families are totally opposite. His family is Urdu speaking from Karachi. Mine is pukhtoon from NWFP. It was a love marriage. Does it matter if we were related though, just wondering?
I tried to “increase” my tolerance, but it’s not happening. Seriously, it’s soooo embarrassing at times. Also the other day we went to a fancy persian restaurant, and FIL calls the waiter with his SNAPPING his fingers and saying “oye”…like they do in Pakistan! The sad thing is FIL has been in the U.S for over 20 years!!!
