I have nothing against Indians and Hindus as such. I dont agree with Indian interference in Pakistan at all, but I dont like Pakistan interfering in India too. I wish both can live peacefully in harmony accepting each others wishes and compromising.
On the issue of Kashmir ideally I would love for Pakistan to have it as it would be a a great place to visit whenever I was in Pakistan BUT to be honest if Kashmiris were treated with respect and equality in India then I dont see why India should not have it?
Both India and Pakistan have problems with ethnicity, religion and human rights in general. I know India hs committed attrocities in Kashmir but our own army has been no angels too. For every finger one points, therewill be three pointing back!
I would love to visit India but in reality its not own good terms with Pakistan and it will take any opportunity to harm Pakistan. I would hate to contribute to that financially :P
if Kashmiris were treated with respect and equality in India then I dont see why India should not have it?
Because they historically haven't been "treated with respect and equality in India" and they have no interested in being a part of India. Don't the Kashmiris get any say in the matter?
Going back to the original topic, while I think I've made my opinion of India's government and armed forces abundantly clear, I have no problem with Indian people as individuals, and I do have some Indian friends.
I like Indians and Hindus. I live in the US and there is generally a positive attitude between the two, at least so I have encountered.
I have met many Indians and Hindus who have good hearts and who have been good towards me. And I give India credit for the progress it is making.
I think much of the animosity that exists between Pakistan and India stems from an unhappy history and conflict, which often happens in political conflicts and competition for power and resources. I think there are still those who witnessed events that created or added to this conflict. And there remain issues, notably Kashmir, that aggravate this conflict. Still, as time passes, so does the intensity of the conflict and hatred. The cultural overlap between the two, especially by way of art and music, attempt to bring the two closer together.
My best friend is a hindu (though, she isn't reallyyy a hindu - doesn't follow it) from India. I have nothing, whatsoever, against her. We have enjoyed Pak-India cricket matches in the past, and pay little head to the political animosity.
I don't hate any indians or hindus but it boils my blood when they talk ill about Pakistan. But I love sikh people here in Canada, they are sick and their girls are cute too. And I hope one day sikhs will get their own country aka Khalistan.
and i like balochis. hope they get there own country some day.
