As a Pakistani, how do you feel about india and hindus? Do you have any hindu friends?
Are you ambivalent towards hindus or even consider them your “south asian” siblings?
Do you hate india and hindus?? I don’t necessarily associate anything negative with the word ‘hate’ because loving your country means you have to hate it’s enemies.
So what are your views on this issue?

we hav hindu friends. we treat them same as any other non muslim family. if they r good with us and don't harm us i don't see any point in hating anyone coz of their religion. we aren't living in joint indo-pak any more.

dude.i really feel for hindus in pakistan now. How bad zaid hamid spits poison on hindus. If he is against india thats absolutely fine with me..but when he accuses or bad mouth hindus/hinduisum he forgets that pakistan also has more than a million hindus in their country which are loyal to pakistan.

It's funny. I bet you these same Zaid Hamid lovers on the board would be the first to cry about Islamophobia in the West, but say nothing about intolerance that plagues Pak society to this day.
When you have 78% of Pakistanis who think apostates should be murdered, yes I don't think anyone here has the gall to lecture the West on religious freedom.

I have hindu friends and i think they are cool. I don't however, like India, its a country which does not miss any oppurtunity to harm my country. It steals our water and funds antistate elements in Pakistan.

try to get information what Islaam is saying about it . Sari qayanat, charind, parind, har buta dali yahaan tak ke pani ka aik qatra bhi Allah Talah ne banaya hay. to kia hamain Allah ki kisi bhi cheez se nafrat karni chaiye? Islaam ne kabhi bhi nafrat ka koi sabaq nahi sikhaya kabhi bhi. dekha jaye to China, England aur German bhi muslim nahi kia app un ko bhi nafrat kartay hain? Nabi Paak (PBUH) apnay husan Ikhlaaq Mubarik se kafroon ko muslman banatay thay nafart se nahi meri jaan. pakistan aur India ko alag huway juma juma aath din huway hain muslman kafroon ke saath sadiyoon se akathay rehtay aa rahay thay agar koi aisi baat hoti to kia muslman pehlay se hi alag na rehtay. apni sooch ko itna tang mat karo ke ghutan se khud hi jena mushkil ho jaye main yeh nahi kehta ke hindu se pyar karna shuruh kar do magar nafrat se koi aik koi bhi aik cheez milay gi to mujhay bhi bataoo.

I dont hate hindus but I dont like anti Pakistanis chahay woh kissi bhi mazhab say belong kertay hon. 
I fell in love with India upon my first exposure to Indian Punjab on TV, I think it was when I saw Dil Lagi, before that my image of India was that of Tamils and Gujaratis as they were the only Indians I knew, lovely people but so completely different from us.
I loved Pakistan but I never thought of it as a reason to hate India.
I'm a naustalgic guy, when I saw Indian Punjab I was amazed that they speak Punjabi just like us, they eat the same foods (makki do roti n sarson da saag), they wear proper salwar-kamiz (not just those skin tight payjamas), they have the same wedding traditions and songs, the same mustard fields, same houses, they have the same folk-tales and poetry, some of them have the same surnames, they bathe at the tube-wells too...
I started thinking of India as another Pakistan and Indians as fellow South-Asians but my rose-tinted spectacles soon broke.
As we age we start thinking with our brains instead of our hearts.
As I got to know Indians I realised that they are very patriotic people, which is fine but their patriotism just boils down to one thing and that is hatred of Pakistan.
Majority of the Indians I know are anti-Pakistan propoganda machines, they wont let go of a chance to malign and badmouth Pakistan and these are regular guys at work, yes they can be very sweet at times but they also backstab and have a bad habit of bringing politics up in everything...
Then there's the anti-Pakistan/Islam Indian media and politicians which you all know about...
They accuse us of being haters when in actual fact Pakistanis don't automatically think enemy when they hear the word India.. In Pakistan people are crazy for Indian films and dramas whilst Indians don't even know the name of a single Paki celebrity.
Indians don't even realise that there are any similairties between the two countries, they think we're Arabs or something, they get religion and ethnicity all mixed up, Indian Punjabis think Punjabi=Sikhs. seriously check their bulletin boards out.
...Due to these things I'm not as warm towards India anymore, once you look over the superficial similarities we're very different.. but I still don't hate India or Hindus, hate is a strong word, I'm more reserved towards them now, first when I use to see an Indian my eyes would light because I loved talking in Hindi/Urdu and Punjabi, now I prefer to keep my distance.

No, But definitely i would not appreciate the idea of seeing any indian or hindu saying anything anti-islam or pakistan...but that certainly does not mean that if one hindu or indian says something bad then i would blame the whole population for an individual act.

Nosherwan, let’s be realistic. There’s plenty of hatred from both sides, don’t try to paint Pakistanis as a victim here. There are plenty of Pakistanis who immediately blame India for any problems that occur within them. That being said, Indians should take a closer look at their internal problems before condemning Pakistan for intolerance.
