Ladies… if you have experience dealing with designers or even kaam walaas.. how do you describe what you want made to them? i.e. information regarding material type and quality and work type and names.
I loved this dress when I came across it in the bridal dress thread.. does anyone have more pictures of it? How do I describe it over the phone to family helping make it in Pakistan?
front open styled gown, sleeveless, with borders and top covered
sharara with thick borders
undershirt with a large motif, A lined ,chiffon sleeves with some chooridar effect,
dull+antique gold kaam
THank you Protorype, that is really really helpful! Who knew that was a sleeveless gown..
I have a few more questions girls, and does anyone have more pictures of this bride, that would be immensely helpful!
Are the sleeves attached to the undershirt?
I feel like the color of the gown is gold and the undershirt and sharara are ivory'ish?
Is it called a sharara because it has two legs?
IS the neck a boat neck? or a shallow but wide V-neck? I haven't seen that style before, it looks like there is a churidaar effect going on with the kaam at the shoulders too.
What material is used for the gown, its supporting so much kaam but it is still flowy?
oh take a pic with you. Trust me, most of the good ones would know what kaam is done, what material is used. I took pics of outfits I liked and my kaam wala made the exact same thing without me knowing much about kaam or kapra.
