Ok Iv always been the type of person who worries a LOT when anything goes wrong .Especially when family members get sick.Khair…now my dad is really ill- and what I went through the last week was a nightmare.Im just having such a hard time dealing with it.My father is better now- but I cant help worrying.I always tend to imagine the worst. Is it just me or is anybody else like that too?
There are three ways to resolve worry. These ALWAYS work.
a) Prayers to Allah.
b) Sadqa (money) to the poor
c) Reading the Quran.
May you be peaceful and under Allah's protection.
just dont' think too much...whatever is better now live with it...forget the past..

Bad idea hiccy.
the moment you start feeling the physical impact of worry you should remind yourself that you're shifting the focus of your mind from your father and family to yourself, and that is slightly selfish, and has no place at a time like this.
atleast thats how i used to think. might work for you.
