a hairbrush..
short of throwing it away (i don’t wanna.. it’s been good to me) how do you get rid of the surface ‘gand’ on a hair brush?
u dont... u simply buy a new one after 3-4 weeks...
soak it in a paani ka magga full of soapy water for a couple of hours and then put it under a high pressure shower, all the dirt will be washed away…
u can take out the stuck hair with a long needle or something similar..
done it a lot of times 
i used to have one hairbrush from like class 6 to class 11..white and black color ka…still remember it exactly…i was really attached to and then i lost it somewhere when we were moving

rinse it with shampoo when you're in the shower
hmmm how do I 'rinse' it with shampoo??
squirt a little shampoo onto the bristles and pad of the brush and hold it under the shower little all the shampoo has been rinsed away.
will try that and letcha know.. next shower date is new years eve..

yes the problem is sloved now
or u can do wut i mostly do.. just pluck all the loose hair from the brush as much as u can.. then soak it over night in soapy water (i.e. add sum detergent or shampoo as sumone already mentioned in water) ... rub the brush off with sum cloth or sponge as hard as u can n rinse.. voila .. Clean Brush... easy.. isnt it?!?! :)
aap ganjay ho jien in this way u never need to clean ur brush…

anyway just take ur brush and clean it with tooth brush (not with tooth paste)u can use soap or only water…

Use a comb instead; they are much easier to clean and manlier too.
TaZ i can sympathize with those whose shortage of hair allows them the use of a comb, but a brush is all that can help get my hair in shape..
I tried the shampoo tip.. (i realized I could do it without taking a shower).. didn't work.. so next ima gonna find something to dip the brush...

ok i remember this from a long long time back..i took a sharp instrument..i think it was a screw driver..it could be something else too..i am not sure..so first i used screw driver to take the dirt off..then i used and old tooth brush and then i dipped it over night in surf and bleach..next day it was fine..and no it wasn't my brush..
take a comb and brush the hairbrush with it till all the hair and dirt comes off....then wash with water, soap whatever..
