for me i search online. if i like a product that comes close to wat i want i try to find reviews on it. i`m not a risk taker n decides very carefully :)
first make a list of product u need. then look for ingredients u want in them. google for ingredients u should look for in a good skin care n those u should def avoid.
for dull n tired skin try exfoliation n facial massages. u can do gentle exfoliation daily or every alternate day.
regular facial massages r really good in bringing life to a dull face.
mix castor oil with olive or sunflower oil n massage in ur face n neck b4 bedtime. do it 3-4 times a week n not everyday as castor oil can be drying if used too often.
For combination skin try lactic acid peels once a week. Pumpkin peels r good too.
Choose a good anti aging cream. Retin-A or Retinol(always start at the lowest concentration) n Vit C serums r good ani aging products. using these products u`ll see diff soon but always use good sunscreen SPF30 atleast as these measures will make ur skin extra sensitive to sun.. Stick with these basics while trying out a new good product that comes ur way every now n then.
i didn`t say healthy skin comes first from within meaning good diet, excercise, supplements coz ofcourse we all know this.:)
I agree Niksik, I waste so much money trying to find the right products...and what works for some doesnt always work for others! I also find that once I find something that suits me, after a few months down the line, its stops 'working' as our skins tend to get used to the product!! :(
I mix and match products from different brands. Usually stick to those that I've tried and tested for years though I have started experimenting lately !
